We are in the process of inviting other committee members to the group, including members of The Medical Technology Group, London (enhancing patient access to medical technology) and The Community Empowerment Network, North Staffordshire.

The ICD Patient and Family Heart Support Group of North Staffordshire and the U.K. are affiliated with the British Heart Foundation and are stake holders in N.I.C.E - The National Institute for Clinical Excellence.

Note:- Although affiliation shows on this site, our organisation remains totally autonomous from any other Heart Support Group in the U.K., even though we work closely with the British Heart Foundation, BCPA, CRY, SADS, and Arrythmia Alliance, amongst other Heart Support Groups throughout the U.K.

We are not supported financially by any other Heart Support organisation and all funds are raised by the ICD Patient and Family Health Support Group or their nominated fundraisers to benefit ICD patients, their families and carers.
